Dries Van Noten’s spring/summer ready to wear collection went off at Paris Fashion Week this Wednesday, and it rocked the catwalk. Vibrant colours, mixed with lingerie and long skirts were key points for the collection, and it came with the 1940’s sexy housewife vibe.
The renowned Antwerp six member gave the feminine woman a masculine touch, and he said to Vogue: “This season was really about the flamboyant woman – she’s not just eccentric, because that can be old with 25 cats”. Van Noten craved a multi-coloured shock – and he got it mixing patterns, fabrics and colours. The models wore printed tattoo sleeves, and lush babydoll makeup – the masculine vs. the feminine. Van Noten’s SS16 collection was colourful, fun and powerful, and once again he shows off his exemplary skills with mixing. So let’s have a look at Sonny Vandevelde’s photos from behind the scenes.
One model noticed from the catwalk was Sanne Vloet from Netherland, she is ranked one of top 50 models on models.com, and the new it-face. Vloet is one of the favourites this season, and has apperared on many of the big catwalks such as Balmain, Dolce & Gabbana, Barbara Bui and Moschino.

We had a look at her style outside the catwalk, and Vloet looks just as gorgeous off the catwalk as she does on.
Vloet mix oversized jumpers, with black jeans – and that grey coat is something to put on your wishlist! It is gorgeous.
Perfect blend of masculine and feminine!
