Avengers Infinity War is a marvel fanatics dream. It is a love letter to everything that comes before it and paves the way for what’s to come, leaving audiences at the edge of their seats from start to finish. It truly is a marvel in every aspect of the word.
Long-time fans have seen glimpses of Thanos throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but this is the first time we get to see him in all his mad titan glory. Josh Brolin gives us a villain that we truly fear but also feel sorry for at times, making Thanos one of the best baddies that Marvel has to offer.
At first glance, it may seem that the amount of super-powered characters in Avengers would be too much, but the Russo Brothers have beautifully crafted a film that allows each hero to shine without overdoing it.
The story jumps from different locations, each focusing on a different group of heroes and if you aren’t paying much attention then you might miss out on some of the plot points. The action is constant, audiences know that they’re racing against the clock and each scene builds up anticipation all the way to the very last cut. The fight scenes are never pointless (unlike some franchises), each battle is bigger and better than the last making the airport fight in Captain America: Civil War look like a schoolyard rumble.
Overall, the third Avengers film delivers on all fronts as it marks the end of an era and the beginning of a new one. It will leave you speechless, in awe, and in tears when the credits roll. Plus don’t forget to stay behind in the cinema to catch the amazing post-credit scene!
