Oslo Runway: Best of Street Style

The street style seen outside of Oslo Runway represents the creativity and flair of Norwegian fashion-lovers. Everything from minimalistic Scandinavian lines, to vibrant colours and corky unique looks took place outside the events, rain or sunshine.

As we gradually transcend into autumn, it is easy to forget about the vibrant colours of summer. Yet, these ladies didn’t, lighting up the grey weather with a splash of colour. If you are a fan of subtle tones, a quirky handbag or some colourful heels can really spice up an outfit.

The black and white combo will always be a classic, and can be changed to suit everyone´s style. Add a cool accessory to make the outfit more interesting.

Speaking of a timeless trend, denim will always be a popular street style look. Effortless and cool, the denim-on-denim was once a faux pas, but is now here to stay. By combining a dark shade of denim on the bottom with a light denim shirt or jacket, you create the balance to make this look work.

Hats and snapbacks are the accessories that can really make a look, or just be a cool feature. The snapback have blossomed in fashion during the last year, it’s a cool and sporty twist to almost any outfit. Bucket hats, a 90s classic, are a fun accessory and are always a good option.

Oh, the leather jacket… it can be combined with almost anything, even leather trousers and skirts, but that might be more for the daring. It is a piece that should be found in every man and woman´s closet. Even though black is the standard colour of the leather jacket, a whole range of colours are available.

Let us know what you think of these looks. We hope you get inspired to try some of them yourself.
