Netflix premiered the third season of Stranger Things a few days ago. Three years have passed since the launch of the series. During this time, we observed not only how the actors grow up, but also how they become style icons. Today the actors sign important contracts with brands, wear couture on the red carpet and act in Saint Laurent and Loewe advertising campaigns. We have taken a deeper dive into how they became style icons for modern teenagers.
Millie Bobbie Brown
You may be excused if you cannot remember the names of the other actors from the show, but you most definitely know hers. The very first season of Stranger Things made Millie Bobbie Brown a superstar and a heap of fashion offers was sent to her right away. At the beginning of 2017 at the age of 12, the actress was spotted in the Calvin Klein by Appointment look book — the brand’s fashion line, initiated by Raf Simons. Millie then became the face of Calvin Klein for two years in a row dressing up in Simons dresses for Emmy Award on the red carpet. Just a month after her first collaboration, she signed a contract with the IMG modelling agency. Soon after she scored dozens of glossy magazine covers and a contract with Moncler. And it is unlikely to stop there. Now, at the age of 15, the actress is a fashion darling wearing Rodarte, Louis Vuitton and Givenchy, which is in itself an application for success.
Among the other young actors in Stranger Things, the 16-year-old Canadian Wolfhard has perhaps the most impressive filmography. He starred in the sequel of last year’s ‘IT’, as well as the long-awaited for many ‘Goldfinch’. Next in line is the role in the new Ghostbusters film. No wonder that fashion houses have already paid attention to the promising actor. Within only 2 years, Wolfhard was inseparable with Prada, and this spring Saint Laurent also took the teenager under their wing.
At the age of 12, Noah was wearing Balmain Kids double-breasted jackets and Giuseppe Zanotti velvet sleepers. But seem like this stage is over. Since last year the actor has been in a close partnership with Fendi, which, like most fashion houses with history, is now trying to reach out to Generation Z.

The fashion portfolio of this Texas-born actress has long been overshadowed by the cinematic one. By the age of 17, Sadie Sink had time to participate in shows of Undercover and Miu Miu, act in several advertising campaigns, such as with Kate Spade, and even create a collection for Pull & Bear. She is also the unofficial ambassador of Hiraeth. The actress always dilutes the brilliant outfits by Chanel and Prada with dresses from this vegan brand that was founded by another actress, Rooney Mara.
Dyer, 22, with her delicate, almost puppet-like features, is a front-row guest at Dior, Salvatore Ferragamo and Coach fashion shows. A couple of years ago a native of Nashville starred in one of the well-known Prada shorts about the postman along with Elijah Wood.
The charm of this British actor, which, according to fans, is equally similar to the one of young DiCaprio and his peer Harry Styles is a yummy slice of cake for the fashion brands. It is even more attractive that the actor is in a relationship with Natalia Dyer. Fashion brands, for example, Dior, really appreciate the opportunity to dress up two celebrities at once.
