Autumn came quickly this year, with a sudden sweeping of autumnal fashion, colours and layered style. If you were looking for style inspiration I have good news and… unfortunately bad news. H&M in classic H&M fashion, have teamed up with another big name in pop culture, to unleash more must-have garments onto the high streets. The Weeknd is the name in question, creating eighteen unique pieces for H&M, so yay good news! But, the collection is almost too good, seeing as it is practically sold out, boo bad news.
Many fans have already felt this disappointment, as the line ‘The Weeknd X H&M’ was snatched up faster than the weathers been changing. Also, some countries may have trouble finding the items online, as a quick search on the UK site didn’t show all the garments.
For the price, the items seem great and the collection itself stays true to the Weeknd’s brand, that’s why so many of us are left wondering, will there please be a restock? Some reports say there will be, but results are yet to be seen. Here is some more of the striking collection.
If you don’t end up getting some, part or any of the collection, other H&M collabs are sure to be in the making. We have already seen the likes of Erdem, Karl Lagerfeld, Balmain and Alexander Wang, grace the highstreet stores with their take on ready-to-wear fashion. But then again, these are names already in the fashion game, so the collaboration with The Weeknd may be the start of a new wave of fashion, from some new faces.
What are your thoughts on the collection?
